Walter Rochester – Certified Accountant

Walter managed accounting, tax and auditing assignments for over 30 years in the public and private sectors, 15 of which at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He provided tax compliance and consulting services on issues such as new business ventures, tax efficient structures, business acquisitions, mergers and amalgamations and due diligence to companies in the energy, financial services, manufacturing, distribution and telecommunication sectors. He lectured on taxation and performance management at the University of the West Indies and at Arthur Lok Jack University Graduate School of Business UWI respectively.

Walter holds an LLM in corporate and commercial law from the University of the West Indies; is a Certified Accountant – ACCA; and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago.

Barrie Attzs – Tax Lawyer

Barrie is a Caribbean tax lawyer and barrister and was a tax partner to one of Trinidad & Tobago’s largest accounting firms. He consults regionally in the areas of tax law, corporate & commercial law and litigation.

Barrie began his career in Canada at a large “Seven Sisters” international business law firm, Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where he focused on corporate and commercial litigation. He has acted as Assistant Commission Counsel to one of the largest judicial inquiries in the history of the City of Toronto. More recently, Barrie has held the position of Senior Manager and Tax Consultant at Ernst & Young in Trinidad and Tobago and in Barbados, and has held the position of Group Tax Manager at one of the largest regional conglomerates in the Caribbean, Ansa McAL Limited. In these roles, he provided Caribbean tax planning and compliance advice and representation to a number of leading companies in various sectors including energy, financial services, manufacturing, media, automotive and construction in Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts and St. Lucia. He has advised on a range of commercial transactions including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, new business ventures, private equity transactions and project finance.

In 2012, Barrie obtain the Cert. FA designation after having successfully completed a prescribed course of studies in relation to the Trinidad & Tobago Banking and Financing industry.

Eddison Doyle - Certified Accountant

Eddison has over 35 years in public practice and in industry in the areas of accounting, finance and corporate management. He has held senior executive positions including Senior Marketing Executive, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in global companies including AT&T and Lucent Technologies Canadian Corp. Eddison specialises in providing accounting, taxation and financial services to small and medium sized companies as well as strategic management and external CFO services.

Eddison holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Toronto; is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants – FCCA (UK); is a Certified General Accountant – CGA; Member of the Canada Institute of Investor Relations and Member of the Financial Executive Institute.
